Crosspointe Academy opened its doors in August 2007. The school began from the hearts of two moms whose desires were to Home Educate their children, but wanted to engage in a partnership of accountability. Our goal is to engage the families, not just the students, in the educational process. The families of Crosspointe Academy share in the values of Christian education; and, we believe the Bible to be the inerrant Word of God. While our school is non-denominational, we believe strongly in our faith and in having a relationship with God our Heavenly Father. Our focus is: Faith-Family-School, from which flows "a place that is Christ-centered".
To develop Christian world leaders through a strategic environment encompassing a common faith, strong family involvement, and distinctive academic instruction.
The decisions we make as a community are based on the spiritual and philosophical agreement represented in our faith, our families and our educational choices.
First, we are a community of Christian believers. We may represent many different churches and denominations but we agree on the essentials of the historic Christian faith, and we hold in common a personal declaration of the Lordship of Jesus Christ.
Second, we are a community of people who have made a commitment to the building of strong family identity. We believe that parents/guardians are responsible for the spiritual and moral training of their children, and we are actively involved in the pursuit and practice of biblical principles of parenting in our homes.
Third, we are a community of people who agree that God has ordained parents/guardians as the educators of their children. Parents/guardians who choose to delegate this task to a school, do so as an act of partnership, and the school comes alongside the parents/guardians, working together with them to fulfill God's command (Deuteronomy 6:6-7).
